I really hope they can stand this pressure. It is huge.

Don't they look at Spain?.. I mean Spain are the defending champions and they're world champions. They defeated Germany on their way to both titles.
Who builts up this pressure? Is it just press, or are the public and the former players in it aswell? I read something Berti Vogts said about the dutch team, he thinks Germany can easily beat us, because our defense lacks pace. Do people like Beckenbauer and Hoeness join in this pressure-building?

That being said, Germany is my favourite aswell. Mostly because Spain is missing some important players (Puyol and Villa) and I still believe there's trouble between the Barca and the Real players.
Still it won't be easy for Germany. I believe either France or Sweden will give them a hard time in the possible semi-final. And the groupstage is going to be tough, although Denmark and Portugal don't have the qualities the dutch team and Germany possess..
  2. I don't think we can write off the weaker teams from causing an upset because they actually have some strong players. Poland for example, I was surprised by how many I know and rate as players.

    In other news:
Uefa has confirmed there were "isolated incidents of racist chanting" aimed at Netherlands players during an open training session.

But the governing body has not revealed whether it is investigating the incident in Krakow, Poland.

Dutch captain Mark van Bommel said monkey chants were aimed at team-mates.
  3. Anyway, today's the day Let's be positive about the next three weeks
  4. Russia doesn't surprise me, great team with unlimited energy. Nice first two games
  5. Just finished the game Argentina -Brazil.

We won 4-3 and was an excellent match!

Messi and ... what else I can say...
  6. Poland manager seems to think Lewandowski is on his way to Man Utd. Also seem to be lining up an offer for Dutch midfielder Kevin Strootman. We'll see.

82 goals this season is where he ends All goals were beauties again. What a phenomenal player, what a season it has been.

  8. Remy:

You are the webmaster here , i will not contradict you

    Messi , again ,
  9. Harry Redknapp has left Tottenham, Roberto Di Matteo has been appointed Chelsea boss. Di Matteo more than deserved it.
  10. Im kind of glad he is going, the 2nd last game of the season vs Villa where we needed all 3 points to rap up 3rd. We had villa pegged back nearly the whole 2nd half, harry goes to bring on defoe, we level at 1-1 then he decides to bring on Parker instead, and defoe sits on the bench the whole game, dumbest move ever.

Anyway i wonder who his replacement will be, id love AVB.
  11. The end of Glasgow Rangers......

Strange that such a big club could go bankrupt

  12. Yep. It's a shame for Scottish football actually. That makes an obvious winner for the league next year: Celtic. Unless they mess up big time.

What's funny is that I used to be a Rangers fan when I was about 6 years old. I stopped supporting them as I lost interest in Scottish football.

A lot of Scottish clubs are in massive debts. Hearts, for example, will be next.
