1. I read a good suggestion in the BBC comment box:

A better idea would be to give a UCL spot to the Europa League winner - thus making the "lesser" competition more competitive.

They're champions of the Europa League, so allow them to compete in the Champions League. Take a place away from the country of the Europa League winner. Give teams in the Europa League something to compete for.
  2. Even better, award all semi finalists with a spot in the CL qualifiers round (final round) and both finalist to the group stage
  3. Anything that makes it worth competing in and prevents a merger competition £8.5m is a good winning pot, but there's so much more available for the UCL clubs for just competing in the group stage.
  4. Sneijder could be on the way to Gelsenkirchen ...

  5. No way, only Bayern would be able to afford him in Germany. It's either Russia who can pay his current salary, or one of the top teams in England who can come close but would be a prefered option for him.. Maybe even PSG.
  6. Man Utd are apparently after Mesut Özil. Whilst, Ajax fans, West Ham United are planning a move for Miralem Sulejmani.

Özil is amazing, but I don't think he'll leave.

I hope West Ham gets Sulejmani him in the winter, still the most expensive player ever signed by a Dutch club (16 million) but never lived it up to this. If he doesn't leave this winter he'll walk free.. They tried to hire him before but didn't succeed. He did have so much talent once..
  8. Reading 3-3 Man Utd

No, it's not the full time result, it's after 30 minutes.

Edit: Sorry, Reading 3-4 Man Utd after 35 minutes.
  9. Finally a good game by Ajax again, last night:

Fischer is a new Danish talent, great quality.
  10. Were those highlights biased? It was all Ajax. Eriksen is such a good player, each time I see him play, he impresses me. Fishcer pulled PSV apart for that second goal, they couldn't get near him. Nice finish for number three as well.

If you want to see some terrible defending, highlights from Reading vs. Man Utd:

No these were general match highlights, Ajax had 70% ball possession, which is their goal for each match. That's why PSV isn't in this highlight
  12. Erikssen is a great talent, but as with the whole of Ajax, bit too unstable. Can be outplayed by a pile of crap the next day.
