  10. Tottenham reportedly looking into a swap of Benoit Assou-Ekotto for Alvaro Pereira, Ronnie. Though there's that many rumours regarding Tottenham that it's difficult to say what is likely and what is unlikely.

    As for Man Utd, nothing. Wilfried Zaha is the only signing made this window, but he's been loaned back to Crystal Palace for the remainder of the season.

    Serie A has to put up with Balotelli now. I read this on the BBC website on deadline day:

    "When Inter president Massimo Moratti said yesterday that Silvio Berlusconi would have many uses for Mario Balotelli he was absolutely right. The 20m euro signing from Manchester City wasn't brought in just to win football matches at AC Milan. He may also give Berlusconi a chance of winning next month's Italian general election, which incidentally also falls on the date of the Derby della Madonnina.

    "Corriere della Sera claims that by signing Balotelli for Milan, Berlusconi could have also secured an extra one or two per cent at the polls for his The People of Freedom party [the PDL] of which they predict there'll be as many as 100,000 additional votes in Lombardy [the region of Milan] which is typically decisive in securing a majority in the Italian Senate. Cynical, isn't it? But seeing how many people came out to welcome Balotelli last night, even clashing with police outside a restaurant where he was dining, the hope, for Berlusconi at least, is that he'll persuade the undecided to get to the polling stations and vote for the PDL come election day."
