1. Thaaanksss Tim!!!

So, the new Pope is Argentinian........

Argentina has now both the Pope and God
  2. No problem.

Good start for Arsenal, they just need to turn it up a gear in the second half now. The atmosphere is dead though, it's like a library.
  3. Time is running out...
  4. Apart from the goals and a fight, there wasn't much to shout about in that game.

All eyes on Ronnie and Andrew now. Can Inter come from 3-0 down to beat Tottenham?
  5. no way half team is in Vatican to celebrate hehe

  6. I've heard some excuses

    --------
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says it is a "massive wake-up call" that no English clubs have reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Bayern Munich's victory over the Gunners on the away goals rule on Wednesday means England will not have a team in the last eight for the first time since the 1995-96 season. "It's a massive disappointment for English football," said Wenger.

Come home Wenger, you're drunk. Complete non-story. Looking at the finals over the past five years, we've produced five finalists. Manchester United in three, Chelsea in two. But it's hardly been a varied mix with Barcelona and Inter also competing in two finals. I think Spain and Germany have needed the wake-up call considering that England and Italy have dominated the finals for the past ten years with eight and five representations respectively, compared to the three for Spain and two for Germany. Even in terms of unique clubs, England and Italy come out on top with four (Manchester United (3), Chelsea (2), Liverpool (2), and Arsenal) and three (Inter (2), Milan (2), and Juventus). Spain have had Barcelona in three finals and Germany have had Bayern in two. Between 2005 and 2009, there was an English club in each final. Italy were the country last to have such a strong run between 1992 and 1998.

In terms of winners of the past ten years, it's a tie between England, Spain and Italy sharing nine titles. Only Portugal has broken into that.

  7. no the only excuses is that the only one who could score 4 or more will be at home with the leg in a cast
  8. Hmm...that's only a minor issue Bale is suspended isn't he? Let's see how Spurs cope without his influence.

  9. i hope Inter win 4-0 ...but Messi plays in Barca ....sorry Ronnie
  10. marvellous heart of the boys .. few inches from the 4th at the end of the regular time .. still we could make it in overtime .. head held high,
    pity
  11. Remarkable effort
