I just arrived home after watching the game on a big screen in a city nearby. Thousands and thousands of people were watching in their homes, pubs, big outdoor screens, there were traffic jams like you wouldn't believe. The whole country is on the move when the Red Devils play these last years.

I do not want to brag about the team, or the supporters, but I just wanted to share how crazy and powerful one ball and a bunch of men can be.

If you know something about Belgium, you'll know that it's a pretty weird country. Only 10 million people and still Flanders hates Walloon and vice versa. Nobody likes the German part (entschuldigung). There's quite no national feeling or whatsoever. We're a mismatched country where the biggest political party wants an independant Flanders. We didn't have a government for 541 days. Nobody gave a crap.

And then some men try to go and kick a ball in Brazil, and we're all united.
That's how crazy and important this game is. Bono says music is a powerful tool ? Well, after tonight I'm convinced sports can be too.
You'll probably think I'm exaggerating, but I'm pretty sure that when they would actually go to Brazil and play good there, the Independant Flanders Movement would actually vanish. By one ball and one team.

That's all I wanted to share

I can't help but agreeing, Glenn, and I'm glad that your'e united even if it's just for 90 minutes
  2. Jup, after a greaaaaaaat win against Andorra.

But the qualifications are always too easy for most of the big countries.

Messi scored twice and he is the second player with most goal in our national team with 37 goals ( the 1st is Batistuta with 56)

  6. Batistuta

  7. What do you think of Lamela? Im very excited to see him play for Spurs, but didnt see any of his games for Roma.

  8. he is a great player ....still young . In Italy did a very good season in Roma and i know by people very internalized in the world of football that Lamela will be one of the best in the world in a few years...

Is a modern player. Tall , very complete to play, score , good stamina , fast ... i dont know when he is going to become a "star" , but it sure will do it
  9. I love Di Maria ...i think is a bit underrated , what do tyou think about him guys ?
