1. I'm pleased

Bart, where are the Ajax highlights this season? I no longer have my weekly Eredivise show

Sorry Glenn, but we all must go through the pain of predicting our own team Pato and Ronnie were up last week. Both backed their own team I think. What club do you support? I'll be sure to throw some of their league fixtures in future rounds!

I also wonder where the Ajax highlights are this season It isn't much until now, we really miss Eriksen, his leaving made it clear how important he was. The midfield really misses some creativity while the ''normal'' forward 3 are out of form (Fischer) not good enough (Sightorsson) and injured (Bojan). But the nice thing is that almost every season some new talent stands up, this season its Denswil, scored against Milan last week and he is a good defender.

Highlights of sunday's victory against Utrecht:

Whats up with United? Is it Moyes or the lack of good transfers this summer? And what about that new Belgium talent? Januzai?
Those Belgiums really have an amazing selection now and in the coming years, really think they could win someting in the coming years.

Thanks Bart I'm annoyed that I can't get the same football I did last season.

As for United, I personally think that it is Moyes, but I don't mean that in a bad way as such. He has come into a new team with his own way of playing, his own theories on the opposition, his own knowledge of big games and so on. I think his biggest mistake during the pre-season was letting Mike Phelan and Rene Meulensteen go. They were Fergie's right and left hand men and would be able to offer invaluable advice. I think he's still getting to grips with the strengths and weaknesses of his new squad. It does seem though as he's slowly getting there. Ideally he needs a good run of results, starting with the win over Sunderland. Steady the ship a little.

Januzaj seems to be a very good player. I saw him on occasion during pre-season and whilst he impressed, it's difficult to judge fully. When he came on for Ashley Young against Palace though, United looked much more comfortable in attack and actually looked more threatening. His performance against Sunderland effectively means that he's picked himself for the next few games, which is great because I'd rather see him playing than Ashley Young.

Finally, I agree. Belgium have to win something major with this generation of players.
  4. Haha, that's brilliant Sergio
I just can't lose this one

And Tim, my club is Club Brugge K.V. (Club Bruges), but I'll ALWAYS say they're gonna win. Because I'm as naïve as The Kooks.

Ah btw, about Januzaj, the kid can choose between Belgium, Serbia, Kosovo, Turkey and Albania atm... Within a few years also England. And he just refused his cap for the national team so... Who knows for which team he'll play ?
But without a doubt he's a fantastic player with a potential great future.

Finally, and this I know for sure, Belgium will NOT win a major tournament. Teams like Spain, Germany and Brazil are just from another league and have a tradition and experience. Also the Netherlands, Italy, Argentina, Uruguay,... play great tournaments from time to time.
Belgium can be an outsider and reach quarter or semi-finals, which would be as big an accomplishment as winning the thing.
    Don't look at the FIFA-ranking btw. It's misleading. I mean, Switzerland 14th, really ?
  5. If we consider the European Championships only, 2016 being the next one, I'd say that Belgium could have one of the best sides at the tournament. Three years is a long time for the young players to develop and improve. I think the 2014 World Cup is too much of an ask and against a larger pool of strong opposition, it would be difficult to seriously progress. A bit of luck with the draws and some of the big teams playing each other early on could open the door a little wider for the Euros. Remember, Greece won it in 2004.

If I was Januzaj, there'd be only one place to go for potential success - Belgium. But if he doesn't want that, then I don't know. Perhaps the time isn't right or he may have set his sights elsewhere. I just hope he doesn't choose to play for England.
  6. Hmm it's great to see that people (finally) respect the squad. Still I believe Spain and Germany to be practically unbeatable. But of course, anything is possible during 1 single match. We'll see.

Januzaj hasn't actually played a single match for a national team until now. He denied eveything and wants to wait until he has a fixed place within ManU. His dad, proud Albanian, wants him to play for Albania.

But why wouldn't you want him to play for England ? I thought you were an Englishman... I'm terribly sorry if you're actually from Wales/Northern Ireland/Scotland... I just don't know where you're from exactly.. I do apologize !

  7. That was i going to tell to Glenn

Tim is english from Manchester i dont know why he don t want him in his national team ...
  8. There is a rivalry between United and England fans
  9. Aha, mum I learned something new today.
  10. Very funny but it is in spanish...
