    Van Gaal said today that he hopes to be the new manager of United but isn't sure United really wants him.
    And here people expect De Boer threw in his own window (Is that an expression in English?) by telling the press Spurs has asked him.
  4. Well the press have him nailed on as the next manager. Some thought it was going to be announced today until the club said that no announcements would be made this week. I can't really see who else it could be.

    And no, throwing your own window in is not something we do here There's probably an expression for what it is your trying to say, but I'm not sure what you mean.

  11. PSG and Man City amongst the clubs that have fallen short of the Financial Fair Play regulations this season. Man City refusing to accept UEFA's punishment or come to a settlement so far. UEFA have proposed a fine in of around £50m, along with restrictions on the size and wage level of the 25-man squad for the next Champions League. PSG have seemingly come to an agreement or are close to settling. If Man City don't reach a settlement before tomorrow's deadline, it'll be referred to a UEFA panel which could impose much tougher penalties.

    It's good to see that UEFA aren't going to roll over on their regulations and that large clubs aren't getting an easy ride.
  12. The FA have rolled out some pretty controversial plans that are part of their vision to improve the state of English football. I agree with some proposals, but others are absurd.
