1. Predictions for today s award ?

Neur : great year and WC

Messi : very good year , WC runner up and WC best player

CR7 : lot of goals and important titles

    maybe CR7 deserve more
  2. I think CR7 will win, or even should, he's had a tremendous year except for the WC. It's based on journalist & national coaches votes right?

yes and national teams captains too ( if i m right)
  4. Ronaldo's year again I think. What time is it announced?
  5. From 18:30PM on (European Central Time, so 17.30 for you). Just starting in 5 minutes or so.

I'd like Neuer to win, for a change and because he's an amazing goalkeeper and an amazing character.
  6. Alexandre Lacazette is getting it next year Amazing time to be a Lyon fan now, we just took the lead in Ligue 1 and we've done it with the most entertaining football being played in France.

(that doesn't say much though xD)
  8. Tuning in now.

Didn't Lyon have quite a poor start to the season?
  9. What a charming young man Mr Kagawa is.
  10. Yeah, they were good in the first game when I was attending, then they got so depressed when I left that the rest of August was horrible. Since then it's been a different story. Lacazette is the top goalscorer in the league (and I think second in Europe) with nineteen goals after 20 rounds, Lyon is also the top goalscoring team... and now we lead the league as well.

I watched the game yesterday on a stream from England... it was quite funny because the commentators got super-excited about Lyon.

Also, we've been starting 7.6 former academy players per game. I doubt very many teams can match that at this level.
  11. Joachim Löw best coach. Deserved I'd say!

Let's see what effect success will have on that. The combination of increased exposure of those academy players to bigger teams, the need to stay competitive, and the increased income will surely strain that number. Admirable though at this stage.
