  2. Messi might be the best scorer, the best runner, the best shooter... But Zidane was a step higher. He had style, he had grace, he worked for the team and even though he could have been a fantastic scorer he chose to stay mid-field and make his teams work better as a whole. THAT is what the "best player" award should be all about in my opinion, not about who scores 50000 goals in a season.
  3. I'll just say this: if my team is playing a final or a crucial match, I'd rather have Zidane on my team than 2 Messis.

    Hard to disagree there. I never saw Lev Yashin or Bobby Moore. I could include Schmeichel instead of Yashin and Baresi for Moore. Other than that, it's pretty solid, don't you think?

    It is, but Cafu, Maldini, Zidane and Messi are the only ones which I have see ''live'' that always makes it hard to say if these eleven are the best of all time.

    Besides that, opinion comes in The best is something else than my favorite 11. C Ronaldo should be in the best 11 I have seen play, but in my favorite 11 he won't be seen.

    And tonight; I didn't expect much from last night, it proved me wrong; great game. I expect much from tonights match, Barca is in great shape while Bayern played unbelievable strong in the first half against Porto. I do expect Barca to get to the final, Bayern misses their key player; Robben and also Alaba and Ribery won't make it. In the end I guess the individual qualities of Neymar, Suarez and Messi will make the difference.
