I'm a football fan, but the next two World Cups will be very controversial. That said, the are plenty of countries around the world misbehaving just now.

Delighted for Iceland, and disappointed for Syria against the Aussies yesterday, and of course the USA, whose absence will dent TV revenue, which in turn will seriously dent 'bonuses' at FIFA for the next few years.

Hopefully Ireland can finish the job now and get us to Russia. All those Russians need is a bit of craic!

Spent two weeks in Russia in the summer of 2014. I so hope Ireland can qualify. If they do and are based in Volgograd - they'll turn the place green. I'd be so tempted to go back.
