I think it was Angels Too Tied To The Ground that sounded so much like Electric Co.

Not in a hundred years angels sounds like Electric Co.

The same fundamentals were there, which is what I mean.

I don't think it sounds like it... I will have to listen again. But presently... I'm listening to... WHAT ELSE - An Cat Dubh!
  6. Angels Too Tied definitely sounds recently recorded. It sounds too mature for the War era, especially Bono's voice. I wonder if they pulled a Wave of Sorrow.
It's a great track, though. I could do without the rushed lyric in the chorus, but the piano melody has more potential than Endless Deep will ever have.

Speed of Life--no lyrics? I was looking forward to hearing a cleaned-up studio version of a 17-year-old Bono.

Saturday Night--lyrically sounds more interesting than Fire ended up being. The music remains the same, almost exactly, except the tempo.

It's great to hear Treasure and Touch, two of my favorite B-sides, in crisp quality.

I'll have to wait til this Tuesday to hear the rest!

I LOVE touch. Good to have all of the bonus disc stuff. "Saturday Night" is interesting. Glad that they are putting these remasters out.

I am too. I was skeptical at first, but even via streamlining, you can hear the difference in quality. The B-sides are turning out ot be pretty decent as well. Angels Too Tied is getting addicting.
    Can't wait til Tuesday.
  9. Just purchased all 3 deluxe sets and listening now! Very polished...photos inside are great. And some of these unreleased tracks are pretty decent!

EDIT: And Drew I think Speed of Life sounds more like Electric Co than Saturday Night.
  10. Call me crazy, but I prefer to wait til the official release

Me too, that's why I waited until they were on the shelves. They were released today.
