    HMV T-Shirts

  5. Took the plunge with my wifes consent & bought all three on day of release. Beautiful packaging and the remastering is so subtle but well done. I didn't bother with the t shirst sets though. I would maybe have prefered the albums release staggered a bit as 60 quid was all we had till pay day. Does anyone know if all U2 albums are getting the same treatment??. I know Under a Blood Red Sky is out next month.
  6. Id hope UF gets the once over. Its loaded with hiss and has all that silence at the end of songs (over ten seconds at the end of Bad). Not sure what wed have in terms of bonus material but id love to have the album redome.

Possible Bonus disc songs for "The Unforgettable Fire"

    Sixty Seconds in Kingdom Come
    Three Sunrises
    Love Comes Tumbling
    Bad live
    ASOH live
    Bass Trap
    Pride (long single version)
11 O'clock Tick Tock (long versionfrom Pride 12")
    Booemerang I
    Boomerang II

    Perhaps LIVE AID audio.

As Heartland was born during TUF period, there may be an alt version or demo...

Any other demo versions might be cool. Maybe LIVE AID and SELF AID on DVD...

BONUS DVD of any TUF tour show would be GREAT.

Boy benefits the most for mine. There are sounds you don't pick up in the original. Some of the classics like I Will Follow, Electric Co. sound excellent plus is has arguably the best bonus disc.
  10. I bought the Boy remaster - just the one disc edition. To be honest I didn't hear much difference in it all. However, October and War I did.

I think it will continue right through to Pop - ATYCLB and HTDAAB were recorded digitally - so were major bits of Pop as well (on ProTools?)

Boy benefits the most compared to the original, but War sounds the best IMO.

a agree that boy has the best bonus disc
