  1. hello everyone,

    I hope this is the right place in this forum to ask this question. Apologizes in advance if not -- newbie at work

    so I saw U2 3D for the first time last night, and since I read that this movie was shot at several concerts in South America, does anyone know from which concert they took "One" ? Because this version is so very beautiful, and before I start downloading for hours, maybe you guys could help me out

    any help would be appreciated. and thanks.
  2. I think you're in the right forum;

    We're not 100% sure as there's some clever mixing; but it seems most likely One is from the Buenos Aires show. I would get this anyway; it's a superb bootleg.
  4. yes, this one was interpreted in the first night in buenos aires, (01-03-2006) by the way was a incredible performance. The crow was amazing too.
  5. If there isn't a DVD release of U2:3D anytime soon, then please let there be a soundtrack CD. Both the performances and sound/audio mixing are f'ing superb in every way...too good for there not to be a CD at the very least. Here's hoping...

  7. oh thank you very much for that I definitely love the way Bono sings towards the end, when he kind of "stretches" the "One", you know what I mean? In the movie he did that kind of singing in the beginning of the song, too, and it sounds so beautiful !!

    I hope for that, too. I understand that it's somehow difficult to bring this 3D format on dvd, but I truly hope we'll get a cd with the audio. The mix is awesome!

    If they edit the audio a little it'll fit on one CD, so I think one can smell the next fanclub release...
  10. I'm looking for the beginning part of One from U2:3D ... where he sings "shine a light..." and some long notes, over those recorded background bits.

    I've been hearing it in my head since I saw the movie, and I want to hear it again... do any of the performances include that part? It's before the talking about the cell phones, I think, and the YouTube clip starts after it has already played.

    I hope they didn't add that bit in later! Crazy how that movie makes up like 9 different shows, including one with no audience.

    I really hope they make it in to a CD (DTS on DVD, even) because I would become a fan club member instantly to get it!

    I'm feeling the same way about that...it was the beginning of the song that did the magic for me. I think it's the version Vertigoman uploaded, but it misses that special beginning. I really hope the complete audio of the show will come up.... soon
