  1. Might have been asked before, but wouldn't it be an option to rate the performance too in the bootleg section? We now see the quality-rating in stars from 1-5, I think it would be a good idea to do exactly the same for the performance.(also 1-5) What about you?
  2. very tricky to do I think as everyones opinion is there own. Sarajevo for example is a 'great' performance to many but if Bono sang like that on one of the American legs the crowd would be seeking a refund. Too much variation would occur therefore the overall ratings will be inconsistent. One mans great is another mans shit.

    The man's got a point there...I think the best system, as suggested before, for a better rating system on the bootlegs is to add the round table's opinion to them...
  4. why not have a suggested rating then as it is downloaded its is rated individually which would give a fair view of it.
    only if it is possible of course.

  5. A performance rating system would be a nice add-on.
    But I'd work on getting the sound quality ratings straight before attacking something new.

    I'm not sure if we'l ever get a tolerable consistent ratings system for 1000+ shows. Would be nice though.

    I don't think that it is about americans...it is probably about Bono's performance...if it was a more "common" show, like on an american leg, it would be classified as a poor performance.

    I'm not generalising all Americans, Just trying to make a point that not everybody's idea of a great performance will match up with everyone elses.

  12. Allright, just dropped a line about it. Gerard is right about the various opinions, but in the BTR, we all usually agree if a show is great or not. A possible future performance-rating would be great, so you would now if a show is generally rated good or not. But as Remy says, we'll see in the future.
