Hey guyz, recently I got an awesome UTEOW version from a friend.... I was really surprised by the quality of both the sound and the performance, but my friend doesnt know much about U2, he says he just got it somewhere.... and I suppose this is kinda radio recording.
Can anyone tell me the name of the show this UTEOW comes from and perhaps bootleg??
This must be some date in October 1992 -- that's the version of UTEOTW that opens the Outside Broadcast bootleg with the Zoo Radio interludes, probably one of the best things that's left from the Achtung Baby era. There was a(n awsome) video associated, I remember having seen it on TV, but I have no idea of whether it has been commercialized (more or less legally) since. Anyway, as for the exact date, you'll have to ask one of the U2 experts around here, they'll probably know... Hope that was helpful anyway!
I guess you can find the corresponding video in the videos of the best of 1990-2000 -- I don't have it right now, but the date might well be in the booklet.
I'm not sure whether it is uploaded here on this website -- it should be, though, *everything* is here... On the other hand, it might not be here if it's official stuff. I have a copy of it, but it might be worth asking around whether the boot is already uploaded -- I'd be very surprised if it was not, knowing Remy & co.

Its a very good performance but i think a better performance is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame one ....larry changes his drumming slightly and its just a very polished performance...although this version seems the fastest i have heard it played and it sounds good!
Iv been a u2 fan since 1992 but havnt yet seen them live.....if I never see this played live i will be absolutely gutted!! its prob my number 1 u2 song!
