1. I haven't yet seen the movie, "Bloody Sunday," released in 2002, based on the 1972 events.

Apparently, there's a live version of Sunday Bloody Sunday that plays over the end credits and I'm just wondering if anyone here knows which version they did (which tour, even which date it was) b/c the people at IMDb are clueless when it comes to live U2.

    Thanks!
  2. im almost sure that it was from Rattle and Hum. I heard that once, but im not sure. Its either that, or from Under A Blood Red Sky. Its from one of those im pretty certain.

I don't know the answer, but R&H would make sense....one of the more emotional performances of that song, IMO.

They're played very differently, so no confussion possible. I'm gonna search some info.
  5. They play it R&H style. I recall Bono introduceing it as a song he hopes they never have to play again.

he said that constantly during that era. What a load of crap though. There is peace here in Northern Ireland now but he now sings it in America saying 'this is your song now'

Well, they begun to play it a la Rattle And Hum (slow intro, etc) about over the Amnesty's Conspiracy Of Hope Tour, so no chance it's from the War Tour (where he used to present SBS as "never play again, etc"). Strange, I found nothing.

''I hope one day never to have to play this song again''. He doesn't have to play it again because we heave the peace in Ireland that the song was wishing for.

Ooooh yeah I agree there. Stop playing it fucking idiot. The peace you wished once has come, better turn the page over.
