I know what you mean. I'm trying to complete my vinyl collection, but that's mainly because I plan on buying a turn table soon so I can play them. Other than that, don't really see the appeal in dropping loads of dough on multiple version of stuff.
I have collected a lot since 1989, lots of vinyl, programmes,t shirts, all CDs, etc.
I am mostly proud of the following-
- original fly shades brought from a Zooropa gig
- Zooropa plastic carrier bag- has the EU stars symbol on it
- zoo condoms
- red hold me, thrill me vinyl
- yellow Lemon remixes 12 inch vinyl
- joshua tree 7 inch vinyl singles pack.
Hi all, I have some kind of dilemma. I have the possibility to buy two original limited edition well known U2 photos. One is the one where Bono is kneeling in the Feyenoord Rotterdam stadium during the Joshua Tree concert or the one from Sheila Rock, the band in front of the Dublin Chimneys early 80's, as published in several U2 books. Which one you think has more historical meaning? Seen the prices I only can buy one
I'm gonna get rid of a lot of the crap I have. Most if it can go to whoevers willing to pay p&p. Lots of cd singles, vinyls and magazines etc. Just no need for most of it. Stay tuned.
Take what you fancy if you can cover postage. Probably cost a fortune to post the lot. Anything unclaimed makes it to the recycling bin. CD's and vinyls to follow.
