1. Haven't posted on here for a while but scored a few items this week at a very Decent price from a record store where I purchase quite a bit of used vinyl, anyhow got talking to the owner and told him I'm a huge U2 fan and collector, this is the deal he gave me :

Fire (7" single, pic sleeve in vgc) $9 AU

    4 U2 Play (7" U2-3, I Will Follow, 11 O'Clock tick tock & A Day Without Me : in plastic folder vgc) $70 AU

U2 Covers live E.P (Grey splatter vinyl) gave it to me for free with those other purchases.
  2. Wow, from their only ever concert in Aberdeen. Day after the infamous 'Like A Song' Dundee concer too.
  3. Yep. If it was a Dundee setlist I would seriously consider selling a kidney in the black market or something.
  4. However, this complete setlist for Aberdeen '83 appears to have been unknown ever since... U2gigs only mentions a partial setlist, incl "A Celebration." If this is genuine, we can fill another gap

BTW: it also confirms that "Like A Song" was dropped right after Dundee...
  5. BTW2: "A Celebration" could still have been played that night (and "40" too!)
  6. Yep, this doesn't rule out 40 or A Celebration at all. But it sadly confirms that the band consciously dropped my song right after its only live performance.

  7. Still, "Big Girls Are Best" has never been played...
  8. They played A Celebration the night after Aberdeen in Edinburgh.
