Can I ask you if you got them back in 1988 or any time later?
I got mine right out the theater in 1988 as well, although my story isn't as exciting. I knew the manager of the theater...

I had the cool inflatable Trabant from Achtung Baby for years too until it sprung a leak. If I had been smart, I woulda just kept it in it's packaging, but I was young, single and foolish at the time and it looked good hanging over my bed with the disco ball!
  3. It's cool anyway! They probably are, as Paul says, the biggest piece of U2 memorabilia ever. (if you don't count the actual Zoo Trabants). Sad about your punctured Trabbie Do you still have it?

Probably in a box somewhere in my attic with my old Pearl Jam doormat!
  5. I was at this show and lost my tickets many years ago. Wish I still had it. Didn't know at the time how historic being at that concert was. Such a small arena club show

That "Zoo Starts Here" sign was from the front a newspaper box in Lakeland that I just had to have.

Those were good times (the good old young, single, unencumbered days! Drove from Atlanta to Lakeland to Miami to Charlotte to Atlanta. First 4 shows in 6 days before heading to Boston for St Paddy's day gig!

Man, I wish I could still travel like that!
  7. Yessir. From St Paddy's Day in Boston.

Dirty Old Town and Van Diemen's Land are not listed here, so I'm not sure if those were verbally added during the show, pre-planned or what, but this was handed to me by a stage hand I made nice with during show...
