1. My first reaction to that big metal membership card was less than enlightening. I still can't see its purpose but I've grown used to having it around. There were also common-or-garden silver plastic membership cards.

  4. A very kind U2start member gave one of these U2com membership metal cards to me as a gift many years ago and I love it, it's almost as useless as cool looking Does anybody know during which year/years was it given to U2com members?
  5. Yes, back in the day when I used to blitz the merchandise stands... don’t think I’ve even brought a programme since Elevation. I found my Zooropa carrier bag the other day.

    I believe it was in 2004 when u2.com re-launched into a real website. Before that, from 2000 to 2004, it was more of a mailing list, if I recall correctly.

    Please correct me if I'm wrong

    The " credit card" shown posts before by me ( the grey one ) has on the back an expire date : November 2005

    Years before ( 2000\20001) i remember i used to receive some " short video lyrics" ,by mail, of the launch of ATYCLB album
    I remember Kite...about 20 seconds lenght video with : Who's to say where the Wind Will take you....
    So there was something before 2005
  12. I did receive a TJT30 VIP gift as a Xmas present from my boss. Just happened to come from a show I saw as well, since the guy included his ticket stub and VIP lanyard. Quite cool book with harmonica and mini-posters.
