I have them, but my Numb - Entumecido argentina promo CD comes in jewel case, not in cardboard sleeve
  2. The cardboard sleeve version is the rarer of the three editions with the same Cat No CDS006. I have all three here (jewel case version, J-Card version and cardboard sleeve version - no difference on the disc content). The cardboard sleeve version was originally pressed as 50 promotional discs with right-side opening. Further pressing were distributed for radio stations and journalists working for such stations and appeared in the jewel case and J-Card slimline case (see below).
These were pressed and distributed in June 1993.

  3. Love the old VHS tapes. I still have some cool ones but no vhs player annymore
  4. I snagged The Unforgettable Fire vhs tape a couple months back for 50 cents... no tape player either unfortunately!!
  5. Numb video is decent on vhs , think was 99p at hmv

  6. As long as the band exists to continue their output. And after they cease to be a band there will be the retrospective and posthumous releases to follow (see Elvis, Hendrix, Doors etc...). So there is no ending!
  7. Cool find !!
  8. @ ELIZIUM: Great collection

    I'm searching
U2 - NUMB (Promo CD) CDS 006 Argentina
U2 - ZOOROPA (Promo CD) CD SN 1999

    since years
  9. I wish you well with your continued search to find the ones you want. They will surface.

The ones shown in the photo are amongst many more in my collection. Trying to go through it all this summer and catalogue everything. Finding some real buried treasure here after moving house.

Aside from what people may consider the holy grail (which I do have, it's not a golden chalice but a round piece of 12" plastic), more recent archiving has seen surface a copy of The Ground Beneath Her Feet 7", Gloria (New Zealand) Limited Edition 7", With Or Without You (Promotional Japanese 7") amongst lots of others.

Keep on looking out for those items!
  10. Take me 10 years to own the Zooropa one, it was the hardest one to find for me
  11. Anyone know a Bram de Bruin, I think from Holland? I traded him my IWF 7" Promo (Canada) about 20 years ago for my 7" ADWM, TUF Doubld 7", and my prized 7" Three, which ultimately Bono drew a pair of glasses on in 2001. All that said, I've often wished I held on to that IWF......
