1. yeah i know that was a joke respectt for youre colletion
  2. Yes, only the U2 War picture disc is official in those photographs. Even that was bootlegged but easily identified by way of checking the matrix stamp in the run out of the LP. Both clear rim and black rim bootlegs exist. So beware any prospective purchasers of that particular picture disc.

Aside from that, as previously stated in posts, please don't but them. Anything unofficial in my collection has been through trades or given to me as thank you's for consistent official purchases to traders. They know I am a massive U2 fan and know my stance on buying bootlegs at such ridiculous prices. Of course when I was younger I did buy a few silver pressed CDs until the advent of being able to create one's own came to surface and made that process redundant.
  3. I know it was a joke. I suppose it did look like an auction sale. Thanks for the comment, this collection has been in the process of expanding since 1980. A few real rarities will appear here soon. The only place i will post images of them and in such way that no scans can be made so the bootleggers are unable to replicate them.
  4. for me : one day and it wil be complete too
  5. yep

  6. over 30 years old and looks super cool

  7. My Beautiful Dog with his favorite cap

  8. New gigantic posters added to my collection. 40”x60”

  9. And this one.

  10. Possibly being shown together for the first time here and anywhere to date on the internet.

Three variations of the promotional release titled U2 - En Vivo Edicion Limitada.

These are some real rare items (two of which I have never seen come up for sale since acquiring them in the year 2000 due to the very rare nature of these editions distributed by the Creative Department directly). From left to right...

    1. U2 - En Vivo Edicion Limitada
CD Promo Single - Cardboard Printed Sleeve
    Island Records
    Country - Colombia
    October 2000.

    2. U2 - En Vivo Edicion Limitada
CD Promo Single - Cardboard Printed Sleeve
    Island Records
    Country - Colombia
    October 2000.

This version omits the photograph of what seems to be the Popmart Lemon and is attributed to photographer Kevin Davies in the credits of the aforementioned release (see the following image that depicts the reverse of these disc covers). Only the sleeve credits are recognised toward the art department in this edition.

    3. U2 - En Vivo Edicion Limitada Hasta La Vista Baby! Live From Mexico City
CD Promo Single - Cardboard Printed Sleeve
    Island Records
    Country - Colombia
    October 2000.

A totally different track listing arrangement to the previous two releases. This track listing is identical to the Hasta La Vista Baby! fan club only release through Propaganda magazine subscription. Again omits the photography credit and lists sleeve design credit only to ABA, Dublin. The typeface appears to be identical to that found on the widespread Propaganda magazine CD edition that circulated free to worldwide subscribers.

All songs featured on these releases were recorded live at Foro Sol Autodromo, Mexico City on December 3, 1997.

As previously mentioned in posts in this thread, the ZOOROPA promotional items will follow in future posts here. These are the epitome of any collection and not listed anywhere outside of the Four5One promotional catalogue archive and what will eventually become the U2 museum in Dublin.
Plenty more where these came from for other Four5One/Creative Department/Works Associates releases ranging from Achtung Baby to the recent Songs Of Experience variations.
