    HMV have a tendency to ramp up the price on such things so check the difference between ordering from U2.COM and HMV. I think both LPs are retailing for £29.
    I am guessing the postage will be in the vicinity of £5.
  2. Good deals in HMV on U2 recently. All but the 2018 repressings under £20. £12.99 for the cyan SoE and £34.99 for the SoE box. Locally anyway.

    Dead right though, new releases on vinyl are dear at HMV.

    Yes I have the Argentinian Gloria 7". It has Is That All? as a b-side.
    The edit of Gloria is around 2 min 30 sec.

  6. I think it might be a walk-in job on the 13th Oct. Plus today is the 24 hour headstart for u2 fans. (Even though Live Nation are already selling it to the masses Stateside I think.)

    The day the internet was put into this house was the very day I stopped going into HMV. Over 15 years. They have never seen my custom since. I refuse to shop or affiliate with them. Having seen just how much they were jacking up the prices in comparison to what I was able to get online was criminal. They had ripped people off for years in comparison to lots of online outlets.

    do O need to have a u2 com account (paid or free) in order to shop in the store

    I'd like to have those new Zooropa and JT on coloured vinysl, but I wonder if u2 com package well the orders, as not to be damaged in transit. I ask this becuase the suscription gifs does not seem to have good protection

    Yes. The vinyl shipped from U2.Com is secure packaging. And if you are not satisfied you are well within your right to ask for a replacement.
