The Visionaire 53 LP is amazing. What's the difference between the two versions of The Complete U2?

Also, I've got those Achtung Baby radio ads - they're quite odd, but worth a listen. I never got a chance to get The Joshua Tree MFSL (the official remaster I don't think sounds as good, but anyway...), but I do have The Unforgettable Fire one. It's a hell of a lot better than the actual proper release.

For mine, I don't know if I ever mentioned it, but I've got an Under A Blood Red Sky cassette tape. I've never actually checked to see if it's one of the original versions....and a Vertigo shirt with the original Australian tour dates (March 2006) instead of the later November 2006 dates - plus a HTDAAB CD with the original March tour dates as well.

When I'm up in Queensland this week, I'm gonna look and see if they've got any decent collectibles - like promo CDs, posters etc whatever I can get I'll take. Although I hear there is a killer record store down there, which I might just wander through...actually, speaking of records, are those two-CD Boy / October / War remasters still kicking around, sort of cheap? I was dumb because I bought the four (Blood Red Sky with the DVD was the only one), but didn't get the others because I have the B-sides and most of the live stuff, as we all mostly do, and didn't want to spend an extra $25 per album. Though I should bloody well have...
  7. I am trying to get a acopy of the latest "Spin" magazine with the U2 cover can anyone help.
I hope I am in the right place to post this as I like to collect magazine Interviews.

  8. As I can recall they have different artwork and metadata. Some 20+ tracks have different run lengths, and I know of at least two tracks that were incomplete in the first revision. The Unforgettable Fire from the same single was around 10 seconds long and Sunday Bloody Sunday from the War album was missing a fraction of the drum intro.

I still haven't listened to the TUF vinyl but the rest sound great. The one title I know I'm missing is the one by The Chieftains that has Bono on it.
  9. Got this beauty home today
Bought is really cheap on Tradera (swedish ebay) so I thought it would be some plastic crap. But I think I'm in love... It's a real zippo lighter and it still works

  10. I bought the 'Complete U2' from eBay, it had all of the officially released up to How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb. It only cost me $20 which was £10 to me at the time. It was the best buy of my life and it saved me £110. I could have bought it from iTunes for £120. They guy put all of the songs on to a DVD and I just uploaded them onto my computer, then into my iPod. I have looked recently on eBay to see if it was on again but it wasn't.
I already had all of the albums but not the the b-sides, remixes and singles, live songs and the 'Unreleased and Rare' album. It was great.

Talking of collectibles, I bought all of the single from the HTDAAB album and I've bought Get on Your Boots and going to get every song from NLOTH too. I also have most of the Pop singles too, suprisingly. Also all of the DVD's and Videos . I'm not bragging but I'm just wandering how everyone else gets all of their songs. I would have downloaded then all but I thought it would be nice to have them for real.
