Might have to ban Gerard. . . .
  2. I'll give you everything you want, except the thing that you want.
You are the first one of your kind...

I want a lot of what you got and I want nothing that you're not.
    OOTS - great song

    i know, i know, LOL,
  4. "Of science and the human heart
    There is no limit."

"And though your soul, it can't be bought
    Your mind can wander."

    The chorus to OOTS

    All of Fast Cars.

    LOL!

Place would crumble and fall. Let's not.
  6. have to go with Fast Cars too...it's got great lyrics, they hit me each time I hear it!

One Step Closer is pretty good too, some great metaphors:

I'm 'round the corner from anything that's real
I'm across the road from hope
I'm under the bridge in a rip tide
That's taken everything I call my own

    and then...

I'm on an island in a busy intersection
    I can't go forward now I can't turn back
    Can't see the future
    It's getting away from me
I just watch the tail lights glowing
  7. I think Yahweh is the most song with greatest lyrics on that album it make me feel that there is still a hope in this cruel world
    really brilliant
Also miracle drug "freedom has a scent , like the top of a new born babys head" really amazing
  8. "finger still red from the prick of an old rose, well a heart that hurts is a heart that beats. can you hear the drummer slowing?"

I think that song stands on its own just with the lyrics, it's definitely one of the more poetic moments on the album. COBL has beautiful lyrics as well
  9. I can't stand the posted Crumbs lyrics.

My favorite from HTDAAB is, by far, "Neon heart, dayglo eyes... a city lit by fireflies" from COBL.
  10. My favourite line's would have to be:

''Lay down, lay down your guns, all you daughters of Zion, all you Abraham's sons.''

    and

''I could never understand, the mysterious distance, between a man and a woman.''

I agree with what most people have been saying about 'One Step Closer'. 'A Man and A Woman' is probably my favourite song lyrical on the album though.
  11. What no man can own, no man can take, take this heart and let it break...

    --Yahweh

    Sorry Yeah....
