And she made her account private.

    Hell yeah.

I'm sure her company had a fit! And as a director of hospitality, she should know better.

But for Bono... Mission accomplished! Another rumor leaked and going viral. Promotion 101!
  2. It would be great, but I think it's too short a time. I haven't seen any rumors or rumblings of venues booked for weeks at a time for rehearsals, and my brother lives in Miami area and there's been no word of either arena or the stadium in the area being blocked out. I'd love for it to happen, don't get me wrong... I just don't see it, personally...

    Nevertheless... I'll be ready!

Not to mention, if they followed same pattern as ie 2015, tickets would be on sale by now...

  4. I don't think you can go by too much u2 history at this point. 2 years ago proves that. This album and tour could all be announced next week for all we know.
I they are playing in October in San Fran my guess is it's going to be bookended with tour. Wilie already said tour is booked and they are waiting on album to be out.
  5. It's doesn't really matter when tickets are announced, they will sell. The only issue with such short notice is that the travelling celebrity fans won't have time to put their plans in place

You're wrong. THey're celebrity fans because they have loads of money, and when you have loads of money you don't care if your flight is 100 or 1000 bucks

I agree. I'm just thinking of the standard formula. ie went on sale beginning of december for end of may shows. So, basically 6 months. Now, we're looking at less than three if these rumors were true. Forget celebrities, it leaves no time for all of our self-employed, well off world traveller friends that are fortunate enough to afford and see every show on the tour to put their itineraries together and book all their hotels and find someone to watch their dogs for months...

I'm remaining optimistic. Perhaps you are right, and I hope you are. If the tour is indeed booked, that would mean guarantees have been made and a timeline/deadline has been set. Two words that don't really fir in the U2 world. But in the wacky world of U2, that doesn't mean much either...

My guess is the October gig (which is a charity gig, so we don't if that's a full U2 show, or U2 & friends, or whatever to expect) will be around rehearsal for tour and maybe that will be platform to announce tour. There is my speculation. And I won't remove my name or post afterwards!
  10. It's all a ruse. Jet fuel can't melt SOE.
