I genuinely worry about him. Somewhere Larry is scowling.
  2. Re: Cow Palace. Awesome name aside, its a weird venue for sure, but its a legit concert one. They played their first SF gig here if memory serves, back in 1983? It was one of Bill Graham's favorite venues for years.
  3. not buying into those rumors. seems way too short notice despite the "pro" arguments.

Point taken, but If I recall correctly, 360 tickets went on sale shortly after NLOTH came out (first week of March) and the first show in Barcelona was June 30...so that was just under four months. This wouldn't be too far off, then. Plus, as others have noted, this will be a continuation of the i&e tour. So apart from making sure they are able to play some of the newer songs, they won't need a ton of time to be ready. This isn't like PopMart when they were scrambling to launch a massive, entirely new show, right?
At this point, we're not sure. Right? Rumors are all over the spectrum. And with a massive show like Pop or 360, there is much more pressure to stay on a deadline. Will this be the same show? Are they staying indoors, moving outdoors? You tell me. It only takes a dream one night by one of these guys to change the whole idea/concept of a vision...

And NLOTH/360 Tour... I think they were in a rush to get on the road after the response to the record.

    We'll find out soon enough...
  5. I'm sitting in a car dealership buying a new car and " People Have the Power " is starting... I'm looking around to see if Bono is here.
It's a sign, tour is soon!
FYI that's not a song that usually is on in car dealerships

I know for sure they played there on Unforgettable Fire...

  8. And yet, just saw this under the "what they said" spot:
"Aaah! A fly. Because Bono wrote about a fly and what's good enough for Bono is good enough for me." - Larry Mullen jr. on what kind of animal he wanted to be if he was one.

    Haha!
  9. Yeh at least a few times. Back in the day it was one of the few Bay Area venues that house over 15K and under 25K people

  10. Yeh, totally. Time speculating on what U2 is actually doing has always been a productive use of time

But seriously, someone drive Bono home asap before this turns into a "Mall tour in Iowa" rumor mill. Said with love.
