1. Apple new phone will probably be out around the same time. They usually announce a phone third week of September and release ten days later. Sounds like another album release via Apple though probably not free this time. Fun times coming up. This isn't like a one off where u2 was invited to a funeral or a tribute to someone but an actual event.

  2. Sadly, there’ll be no outing to Slane this year; the man himself recently scotched rumours that U2 would return as headliners. Maybe in 2017, he said. No need for Slane fans, therefore, to be miserable. Sure as another icon of Irish pop culture once had it, what’s another year?
  3. For some reason I have a gut feeling that if U2 will ever play a "Last Live"

    It would be @ Slane.

Also, that lineup for Iheart festival is pretty damn sweet.

I hope you mean it's pretty lame. Sting, Tears for Fears and the biggest band in the world dont deserve to share a lineup with Pitbull, Usher or Britney Spears.
  5. I cant wait for Britney
  6. Sil is apparently going! Hopefully she'll do a mixlr stream.

No I honestly think some great bands are up there.

Drake (if you like the shit he makes (I don't) But its I heard he's a solid festival act.

But I was especially looking with a bit of jealousy at : Twenty One Pilots (Fucking brilliant) , One Republic (Fucking Brilliant) and Cage the Elephant.

Also, Sting isn't too bad. I don't love him , don't hate him.
I would sell actually sell a kidney to see Twenty One Pilots and U2 and One Republic on a festival.
  8. I agree with Sergio... U2 and Sting alongside the likes of Britney, twenty one pilots, Drake, and Usher?

Ah well, I guess I shouldn't complain - U2 are U2, no matter who else is appearing at an event.
  9. U2 at Slane??
  10. I reeeaaaallly dislike U2 playing at iheartradio. If you saw Muse and Green Day at iheartradio, you know what I mean...
