1. I think that 30 minute slot will be important for them to show us what they're about. It'd really be a bummer to see Beautiful Day, Vertigo, I Still Haven't Found, Streets, I Will Follow, and One as their set. I'm hoping they come with some confidence and play some new material. I'm not saying they should play all new songs (even though that'd be amazing), but they've been working on new stuff long enough to have at least one or two songs ready
  2. Mofo, Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car, Seconds, Lucifer's Hands, When Loves Come To Town, In God's Country, Heartland. That is the setlist. I am sure of it. In fact, if they do not play this exact setlist, I promise to go to G Dockside, and eat 50 wings on All You Can Eat Wings night. I have only ate 50 or more wings on 20 or so occasions in my life, so a challenge. But my eating will be very relevant

A bit hit and miss, right?

If they play 7 songs I reckon the set might look something like

    01 - The Miracle
    02 - Vertigo
    03 - Beautiful Day
04 - With Or Without You
    05 - New song
06 - Where The Streets Have No Name
    07 - One

    That probably would be dead-on
  6. Sadly
  7. What time will they be performing? 7 hours behind the UK.

I might just wake up for it then go back to bed
  8. Anyone else hoping "The Best Thing About Me" actually is a song off the new album (or at least a U2 song and not just "Kygo ft. U2") and that the band plays it next week? I just keep listening to it...

It would be cool to hear a new song lead into Streets!
  10. Collabs at IHR?
    What do we think?

I thought the Billy Idol thing was a wild card until someone suggested a Discotheque > White Wedding > The Fly sequence [never gonna happen, but it made me think] <-----EDIT: JOKE

(OR and Drake are two of the [7-8?] bands scheduled to perform Friday night. "Surprise guests" may be on the ticket too. Considering Gaga's new album just dropped that would be an obvious choice, but I am totally speculating.

Right now the lineup is 7-8 bands one night. Being advertised as "mind blowing collaborations": I'm guessing -- and this is COMPLETELY not substantiated but I sense the show may be almost entirely collab performances. Which, could actually be pretty f-ing interesting. Otherwise U2 should be starting around 3 am otherwise.

Here is the line up: U2 DRAKE SIA TWENTY ONE PILOTS SAM HUNT BILLY IDOL ONEREPUBLIC

I can practically guarantee a SIA-U2 collab, and since OR basically wants to BE U2...

    So. What do we think?
I'll I am thinking at this point is thank god it wasn't Pitbull's night. $5 says everyone on stage for ONE encore.

I'm not sure if I'm onto something or have gone completely tinfoil hat. Help a sister out....
    Tinfoil hat confirmed.
