1. I'm surprised that Muse won the Best Act in the World Today. They're very good, but it seems that they've gone a little downhill lately after the Drones release.

Not suprised, I don't think they've gone downhill.
  3. They still are good, but I've been seeing a lot of people trashing them lately, though I'm not one of them.
  4. I'm not trashing them! I'm not saying they're BAD per se, but they certainly haven't topped Black Holes and Revelations and each album sort of goes down in quality after that. Again, not saying they're bad, just saying they aren't as good as they once were and their light has sort of faded a bit.
  5. It's hard to put Muse's career on a particular trajectory because while many would say they peaked a while ago, their new material continuously shows them at the cusp of something great and memorable. I'm not too worried about Muse because they've been doing Muse things for a while and not really caring too much about whatever fan response they get.

Love them live. Sadly, my most memorable Muse show was probably the least memorable for Bellamy:

I was working in promotions for the label at the time and this was in a small, basement venue called the Cotton Club and it was the US tour opener. (Matter of fact, you'll see a Muse poster on the post in front of the stage... that was my handy work!) Anyway... The 4 songs they did complete were amazing, but I was left without my much anticipated meet and greet and photo op.

They did end up coming back twice that year, but for a festival and a radio holiday show, so they only did abbreviated sets for those.
  7. Sorry. I got lost in the moment and just realized I took this off topic...
  8. This is a long one, i don't know if anyone can give any info or not.

My mum and stepdad went to Dubrovnik at the end of September as my Stepdad had turned 50 a few weeks before. They were in a resturant and heard that Bono was in Dubrovnik or Cavtat a few weeks prior to their arrival. Can anyone shed any light on that? Was that to do with Bono's activism - as far as i know the Bosnian passport hasn't been revoked despite talks of it.

    Cheers
  9. I think he was just on holiday.
  10. That would make sense. Yeah. I wasn't too sure either way, as i say, it was a week prior to my mum and stepdad's arrival so they weren't sure either. All they knew was Bono was in Croatia
