1. Are you sure you're talking about me? I do like Coldplay. Just check the dedicated topic.

Yep, that's all I'm doing. My criticism is never constructive, I never shared any music and video here, I never sent free DVDs to members here, I never taped and shared any concert, I never helped out and hosted any U2 website, I never use my contacts to share some newsbits ... All I do is complaining all the time.
I'm sorry about being so negative. I'll be more like you in the future. It's people like you who actively share music and bring up creative topics in which they express their sophisticated point of view that makes the community so wonderful.
  2. have to agree with yeah here. now back on-topic?

  3. Um no. I think he looks much more relaxed on the latest pictures than he does on the pics that were taken in NY and Cannes before his surgery. On those you could see that he was CLEARLY in pain. He looked, understandably, exhausted in the first post-surgery picture (the one with Paul in the car), but is looking better and better with every picture. He seems to be recovering really well. He looks much more relaxed on the latest pictures, which is a good sign. He can move, walk, bend over, that's an even better sign. And of course he's not jumping around happily and laughing right now - he's had a very traumatic injury and having to postpone a whole tour leg isn't exactly a reason to be overly happy.
  4. Hope he isn't in Eze now, as the weather there is not the best, looking at the news
  5. From U2log's twitter

Live Nation will be making a statement concerning U2's Sevilla concert - a strike is planned in Spain for that day. via @U2miracle
  6. People, please chill out. All members have their own share to this site, some more than others. Doesn't matter. And some criticism is good. Respect people for what they are.

Hmm you're saying opposite things here

And something else. Really no sarcasm intented, just interested, but are you saying now you actually SAW before the operation, when no one knew anything, he was in pain ?!
Cause i think nobody had a clue

Yeh I hadn't a clue, it was an emergency so doesnt that mean it was sudden?

Just saying he doesn't look like he's in horrible pain right now, and he certainly does not look "confused" but rather relaxed. Some people were commenting that he wasn't smiling and not looking "too happy", but I don't think Bono would be overly happy considering they just had to cancel a whole tour leg because of an injury that certainly wasn't fun. I guess it's very frustrating for him right now, but he seems to recover well, that's the most important thing.

What I was talking about was the timeline of events before the sugery: Bono was seen in NY on his birthday and in Cannes two days later and he didn't look too great in those pictures, instead he REALLY looked like he's in pain, especially in the Cannes ones. Some people on other forums were worried and commenting on how bad Bono looked on his birthday when we all know the man likes to party. And it's a fact that he was going back and forth from Cannes to Munich between his birthday and the surgery, apparently seeing his doctor. People saw him in Munich and saw him at the airport, he could hardly walk and was in great pain. Fans on different boards were discussing that, we were starting to get really worreid about him.

So, yes it was an emergency surgery, but still there were some pretty clear signs that Bono was in a very serious condition some days before he was actually admitted to hospital.

Ok then, thanks for the explanation
  11. No prob. Let's just hope Bono will be fine and that he's not overdoing it. It would be very tragic if he re-injured himself.
  12. Let us keep this to sightings, not an discussion about his injury. We have a topic for that, thanks.
