    Maybe you have to be there for a referendum? I know for elections there are mail-in ballots though you would think there would be something similar for a referendum,
  8. there are a lot of countrys where you can't vote by mail, for example if you are turkisch you need to be on turkisch ground (as far as I know) so you have to be at least on an airport. Or my wife is frensh, she needs to travel to the next voting ofice wich is from here in düsseldorf (1h away) and all french people of the region going there, so that you sometimes wait for hours untill you can vote.

    Not quite, This is a typical U2 thing, they have songs left over from this SOE album, which will be worked on for future albums, its kind of why we don't see many b:sides these days, as they generally hold them back for future projects.
