  1. They signed a mega deal with live nation , that took away their timeless notion of doing any work.
    The contract states they do work within timescale of the contract
  2. After this tour, some concerts at venues (Sarajevo?) who are special for U2. Then, two last gigs at slane. We all can die happy.

I’ll never forget listening in live with Rob on Facebook and having already enjoyed 11 tracks just being completely mesmorised by this song. It still has the same effect on me now. Anyway I feel like the last 2 albums have only strengthened my love for u2.

    A little off topic but Dean I have to give props to you. I find myself agreeing with many, if not all of your posts and I love your passion. I have to agree with your post there as well.

    To me Every Breaking Wave ranks up there with their best as well and same about LIBTAIIW. I have a real soft spot for Joey Ramone and Best Thing too. Very unabashedly joyous songs.

    Well even though I like a bit of debate I’m always happy when I can find someone who agrees with me too. Makes me question my own sanity a little less lol. Seriously though I think similarly your passion for the band shines through just like many others on here. There’s many different ways of getting that passion across but it’s present in all manners and forms on this site. Anyway I should apologise I’m dragging things further off topic but as I said it’s nice to be in agreement, I appreciate the comment.
  12. I'm also now a bigger fan than the person (my dad) who first introduced me to them. I've been getting the (admittedly playful) 'dad rock' comments from my friends for a good few years now, though I've definitely been successful in converting over a few of my pals.
