1. He did make a joke along they lines during the vertigo tour, something like ‘He’s not with us tonight but I’ve been putting on a bit of weight’ lol.

Ain't that the truth... anyone under 40, start thinking about it now. Once you hit 40, it takes a lot more than just being active to work off the jelly rolls...
  3. I've actually been in close proximity to Bono in the last 3 or 4 years and marvelled each and every time how thin and fit he is. He may look disheveled and ungroomed on vacation but don't we all. He's very thin for 60.
  4. Bono is is far away from "very thin" (no matter what age). Look at Larry. Larry is very thin. Bono is stocky built and he never was thin or very thin.
Of course, I don't think that Bono is fat, but he has a hmm let's say not really small tummy.
Every inch too much there increases the risk of a heart attack.
Yes, it's not our business what he's doing and how he looks like, but I think most of the people who have read about his health incident that happened in 2016, they think he had a heart attack.
And as someone else wrote here before, I just don't want to read that he died of a heart attack
  5. Better to live a happier life than a longer life is what I say. If we spent every minute worrying about our health it would be a pretty sad existence, we’re all going to die anyway, he could go on a health kick and something could happen to him. If he was walking around the size of Jabba the hut maybe i’d show some concern myself but he’s literally a bit overweight, stop worrying and let him do what he wants.
  6. Bono has a knack for losing weight quickly before a tour. Not sure how he does it, but I think he's got this.

    Agree!
From some posts it looks like Bono owes them something... which is wrong. Only ones he should be responsible for are his close friends and family.
Btw. Bono is rock singer not a member of a boyband, so there's no need to look perfect

As for me, yes he doesn’t owe me something, but can’t I worry about him because of that?

In my opinion: Bono looks perfect
  9. So this is where we're at as fans....talking about Bono's weight lol!

I meant to say that Bono looks very thin beside a Japanese wrestler. Just wait till December to see the picture.
  11. I have to admit I’m a little disappointed in myself getting into a discussion about his weight. I just feel it’s not right to criticise him because of it or question his professionalism over it, the people saying they’re concerned maybe should keep that concern to themselves as that’s there problem not Bono’s, that reads more critical than I want it to but to go online and even discuss someone’s weight is poor form in general whatever the reason why it’s being discussed, that’s why I’m a little disappointed in myself too even if it was in Bono’s defence.
  12. A tribute song to Bono's vacay belly:
