1. my guess is after taking notice of Coldplay's recent announcement they have decided they will no longer be touring due to climate change reasons, but will continue to release new music.

  3. yep, touring creates a huge amount of emissions and waste. It's definitely going to be phased out eventually.
  4. Don't get why Coldplay just don't just offset their carbon emissions. If you extend their logic then no one will fly, or do many other things.....

  7. well on top of that touring creates heaps of rubbish waste, plastic, food waste etc..

    touring is bad for the environment no matter which way you try to spin it.

  9. I have a hard time believing the announcement is going to be no more tours. I admire what Coldplay is doing, but U2’s got maybe five years left, that’s not shortchange ourselves
