  3. With Elton John???Hopefully it's not all him doing the vocals.
  4. I'm guessing there will be a little Elton vocal as wel but if he'd be the lead singer what does Bono do then.. The high falsetto part? (Elton lost his in '86) or the tambourine?
  5. We all know Elton is a great piano player but this track is one of my favourites featuring him:

  6. I Think the guy is a bit of a fraud he announces a 3 year farewell tour so he can spend more time with his kids (They'll be grown up and moved out by the time it finishes)Does a residency in Vegas which is just a money grab and does various commercials for top brand products such as snickers and John Lewis ,the guy is worth half a billion dollars how much is enough?

  7. Looks like Elton John is really popular collaborator this year. Even Steven Wilson has him on new track (spoken word)
  8. Excellent 2 part documentary on BBC2 now about Live Aid to coincide with the 35 year anniversary...it's a repeat which was originally produced for the 20th anniversary

Elton was on piano back when T-Rex played the original on Top of the Pops. So he's appearing here on piano as a nod to that. Trombone Shorty is on there as well. It was recorded back in 2017, and was officially announced back in April just after Willner's death. The first few songs are available as previews on iTunes now.
