1. Die Band hielt sich am Abend in den Hansa-Studios auf und spielte dort mehrmals One.

Doesnt that mean: The band was in the Hansa-Studios at night and played multiple times One.
    Or something like that
  2. Better to play out the song a few times and shoot it, instead of doing mimics to a recorded version. But I'm really really REALLY hoping they won't re-record anything...
  3. If they were going to record a couple of popular tracks from it (e.g. UTEOTW and One) that'd be cool, to see how they envision these songs 20 years on.

Why? We already hear them every night on the concerts.

I don't think they'd be re-making the video for One. I mean, they could be but I think this is more along the lines of some kind of documentary DVD. After all, why not document what a hard and difficult process it was for this album that almost left us with no U2? Sounds like a great idea.

We can only hope they saw what Springsteen did with the Darkness boxset and decided to do something along those lines. I won't get my expectations too high though.

And why re-re-record One ? The original studio version is perfect.

  6. That's a good point. Maybe these are like new mixes on the 1990 - 2000 compilation like Gone and Discotheque had.
  7. my guess is some kind of short documentary to be included on a 20th anniversary release of some kind...

We can only hope that they didn't see the price tag on the boxset
  9. I hope they won't bring out another version/single of One then...
Cause they already came up with the duet with Mary J Blige just a few years ago.
That would be bringing out the same song 3 times then.

But it would probably be good for their mainstream popularity. I think it would be okay

  11. Really ? If I wasn't a bif U2-fan, my reaction would be "Wow they're now actually that old and un-creative that they have to dig up their big hits again...twice"

I don't think I'd know that much about them, and not analyze that much. And just start to like that really good song.

And I think they'll be able to come up with some kind of special reason for digging it up.
