1. That was a great video. And yeah to see they haven't forgotten the Pop era is good too.
  2. aside when they go on stage
  3. Did I hear Mister Macphisto talking there

    Funny movie.

  4. Lol, indeed. Hey, they're giving us snippets. It'd be a far better world if we all heard Pop.

Yeah and that English accent....I swear I heard Macphisto too. That was my first thought actually.

  5. Had the same thoughts Seems like when Bono does a british accent impression he's bound to sound like Macphisto once again.
  6. GREAT interview. Great.
  7. Do continue! I love that English accent, love love love it. And Larry punches (not literally, though) Bono when he says "Well I'd like to know where you're going to do a U2 album, huh?"... I laughed out loud there! Great interview, once again.

PS. I think they might have watched the Popmart DVD recently... Discoteque, Mofo and Please snippets, various Popmart references...

  8. Btw, what I don't really get is this

"it'll be ready when it's finished, although I never feel like a U2 album gets finished, we sort of finish the songs live. But when it's nearly finished, we'll release it"

But euhm, didn't they like, play various songs live, multiple times, already ?
So, shouldn't they be quite finished then ?
  9. I don't think anything U2 does is finished, in a sense. You always hear things in the song you'd like to change.

And those are holy words - twice I've used them so far.
  10. God damnit Drew, I never recognize you with the changing avatars

You're right, they don't get finished, but I just thought it was rather bullsh*t when he said that line, because they played quite a lot new songs live, so they should be considered 'finished' or surely 'nearly finished' and be put on an album by now.

    Holy words ?
    EDIT : nevermind
