  3. Pity about the album being released next fall

    We were supposed to get an album at the end of 2009!

    I actually think i'd still like a Songs of Ascent more than a Brian Burton album - at the very least they could release SoA as an EP like Zooropa was to AB.

    -The page immediately following has a picture of Bono, Edge, and Reeve Carney singing Rise Above
    -The front of the review section has a full page review of Turn off the Dark with another (illustrated) picture of Bono and Edge

    So yeah...they're alllllll over that magazine. It's the new one with Zach Galifinakis on the cover if anyone wants it.
  8. Happy to see Bono and Edge will be guests on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and then play a song from Spiderman. Looking forward to hearing what they have to say about the musical, and hearing them play a song...hopefully something other than Boy Falls From the Sky or Rise Above.
  9. To be honest. I'm starting to agree with all of the critics in saying that U2 need to stick with what htey do best and forget about the Spider-Man thing. I respect the fact that they want to branch out as musicians, but I feel like it's a project that should've been scrapped long ago. I'm sick of reading "Bono and Edge on Tonight Show" and then reading that they're on representing Spider-Man. (I know, what else would it be, but still). I'd rather see U2 on TV for something they're doing as a band. I hope this is all over and done with soon and we say goodbye to U2 for a year or two while they work on material, then they come back with some amazing stuff.

    Right now I just feel like they should finish the tour on a really high note (which they already are about to) and disappear for a while.
