true, he is always saying he needs 70,000 people screaming just to feel normal

  2. Bono and The Edge are in New York City at the moment for more Spider-Man work. (It's about 3:30 am EST Monday.) They're shooting a music video for "Rise Above 1," the lead single from the Spider-Man album. All of this is according to a tweet from Peter Parker himself, Reeve Carney

It's like banging your head against a wall. If Bono and Edge are in this video, I might damage my neck from shaking it back and forth so much.

  3. I hope the Edge is dressed up like The Green Goblin.

Man, this is taking time away from rehearsing songs like "Zoo Station" and "Love is Blindness."

    Yep:

    Also, just found this:

  5. I'm glad that Rise Above 1 is going to have a film clip, i love that song

  6. So does this video imply that they're going to open with "Streets" or that it was first on the rehearsal list that day? Glad to see the essential NYD on the list. They can play that one in their sleep.

    Am I spoiling things?

Not nearly as much as a Rise Above video would

  8. You absolutely are. On the other hand, you're not on the Glast thread so don't care about it. Anyway, everybody who sees the video sees the same things as we do, so...
  9. Too bad I can't see that video from Germany!

    A new post at U2place:

    http://www.u2place.com/newsdett.asp?idN=5539

It looks like Bono said that the next tour will be indoor, and that U2 will be playing songs that haven't been played live recently. Not so sure this is much of a novelty, though. And who knows what's gonna happen in 2 or 3 years anyway. A fan asked about Acrobat, and Bono said that yes, the song is great, but difficult to play live. So it'll probably stay where it is, AB, track n. 11...
  10. Too quick for me Kieran, was just about to post that Good stuff, will be getting the superduperdeluxe whatever for AB, we'll see about Zooropa.
  11. That McGuinness quote is terrible looking.
