    why nobody move!
now the West discovered the famine in Somalia !

We "move" already for many years, Live Aid was in 1985 and still we face the same problems. Since then so much was invented on technology, but still people still haven't been able to solve this somehow.

Hope that something will be done soon, except for Somalia for which I feel less sympathie. When you sell food from WFP, meant for refugees, on the market, have pirates robbing ships and making money that way and if the armies have money for weapons for the civil war, then let them deal themselves with this, as it seems they have enough money themselves. Although I hope the innocent people will get the help via the VN.

And hope the money really comes to the people in need and not the country leaders, who seem always to have big houses and cars somehow.

Bono to become a Facebook billionaire

The U2 man's investment in the social networking site has paid off

Bono’s investment company Elevation Partners bought $210 million (£128 million) worth of shares in the social networking site almost two years ago. This week the site has been valued at $65 billion (£40 billion), meaning that Bono and his company’s share of the business is now valued at a whopping $975m (£595 million).

Elevation Partners was valued at $50 billion (£30.5 billion) last December, before Facebook was re-valued at $65 billion (£40 billion), reports the Guardian.

U2 were recently named the world’s highest-earning musicians by Forbes over Bon Jovi, Elton John and Lady Gaga, making $195 million (£120 million) over the previous 12 months. They have just finished their 360 world tour in Canada, grossing over $736 million (£447 million) in the process.
  5. how much he will provide for Somalia ?
  6. None of our business. Charity should be a private thing and it's ridiculous to even speculate on how much he (or anyone) would give. Quit being so cynical and show some sympathy for the hundreds of thousands of people who are struggling to stay alive. You can have your opinions on wars and other conflict, but this is a human tragedy. Put your damned political agenda away for a bit.
  7. no.
  8. WAR doesn't prove
    who is RIGHT -
    only
    who is WRONG!
  9. It's also high time that the rich oil states do a contribution, instead of buying football clubs and spending tens of millions on buying players and salaries.
  10. nothing !
but I'm not the Messiah BONO
