  5. I really hope they decide to strip it right down to the bare mimimun - even less than the Elevation Tour - and have a more spontaneous show. They have proven very well that they can wow us with stage design and sound but now it's time for something a little more true to rock and roll and less of an homage to Broadway or Las Vegas.

    As much as I'd love a spontaneous show, I wouldn't hold my breath. Bono has enough trouble with the lyrics when they're doing the same songs every night. I shudder to think what would come out of his mouth if they randomly changed up the setlist. Might be amusing anyway.

    very very good point
    they need to change their attitude in rehearsal .. maybe not giving much attention to light whatever can help .. or not
    anyway a good start could be not forgive all in a sudden a song after playing it show after show for months (like The Unforgettable Fire for example)
  12. The Bono-forgetting-the-lyircs point is a very valid one. Maybe he forgets, however, because all of the stimuli going on around him during the show...he has to run all over the place, worry about retracting screens coming down over his head, negotiate moving bridges. etc, etc.... Also, Eddie Vedder must have a much better memory that Bono as he seems to know/remember the lyrics to every song Pearl Jam has ever written!
