U2's soundchecks have almost never seemed to serve the purpose of practicing music, once the tour has gotten underway, but to work the stage through various elements of the show and make sure everything is in sync. A stripped back show=soundcheck REHEARSALS of whatever they might want to spice things up with.

    I feel that their brains are just far too "complex" for it though...

  10. I really enjoy writing songs and that kind of stuff, even if they are just alright... But I´d give anything to be able to spend days playing with my compositions in a top class studio, with great producers and without having to pay... I understand they have to spend more time with their families and they deserve a rest, but to work in a home studio for 3-4 hours a day too much?! Come on U2! (Just letting out a bit of my anger )
