1. Sigh. I'm sure there's a good explanation behind it, but we'll never hear it.
  2. just saw the reddit posts... my friends that hate U2 and are on reddit are having a field day D:
  3. It stings somewhat.
  4. Aside from all of the points being made, one must ask, where the hell did they get "ass-hat" from? That's one of the worst insults I've known. If someone called me an "ass-hat" I'd be laughing for a long while.
  5. I suppose what they're all forgetting is that U2 is a company, and such tactics are used all the time in business to dodge tax and they're all perfectly legal. How much of an active role each member of the band actually plays in running this business will probably never be public information. If Bono was at the forefront of these tax avoidance decisions then I would have a very hard time defending his hypocrisy, but for the purposes of this forum I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

To be honest, it was the enormous amount of up votes that the anti-U2 music comments got which pissed me off. 'Hurr hurr, all U2 music sounds the same' FUCK OFF!
  6. Am I the only one who's not bothered at all by what other people think? I love U2, you don't, ok, move on.

  7. That's it. This tax thing rant has been going on for years now. Who cares...

  8. I agree with you and Sergio...and it's actually funny to see it suddenly brought up again. Specially as it is listed under "Today I learned..."!
Haters will hate, lover will love...just sad to see stupid reasons for it.
  9. Keep calm and continue listening to U2.
