I hadn't realized of that, that sounds pretty certain...

I wouldn't get worked up over this, and I think it is quite a stretch to see it as a ploy to sell more shows. This was taken from unused interview footage from the recent Rolling Stone interview. All the other guys were asked the same question and no one besides Larry actually mentioned the possibility of ending it anytime soon. We know Larry is the realist out of the band and the most straightforward. He's right it can't last forever, but by no means is the end around the corner.
  3. Don't worry, c'mon remember all the shit after "we have to dream it up all again".

    So don't worry, be happy...

They did a contract with Universal for four more albums after Bomb. Now we have NLOTH, so three to go.

I'm pretty sure Bono said at the rooftop show that they're "not going away anytime soon." or something to that effect
  8. I'm thinking of 2 more albums, Songs of Ascent included. So their next full break could be their last. And they might tour a bit for the remaining years like the Stones did.

Yep. Songs of Ascent, break, then one more album (I hope with some very experimental stuff), touring, and later the release of some albums with b-sides, remasters etcetera.

And I'm sure they will call that last one 'Man'.
