1. What they don't realise though is that it's not Bono's job to help those in need. It's the job of humanity. Bono simply helps to bring attention to the situation with his massive status.
  2. I also despise how people hate U2 just because they hate Bono. Totally makes sense.
  3. And to be honest, I always disliked the bla bla bla about Africa too.

well someone has to move things from the dead point. I dont't blame him for talking too much, in fact I like that... when on purpose... and even when it's not Anyway,

    +1

-A guy with a fuckin' ton of money
-"We need to help people in Africa. Donate money!"

And all they put together is "Do it yourself, moron."

Fair point, but in the end he only asks for the crumbs from your table

And yes, I'm excited about the news surrounding the new album too
  4. Regarding that news, I can tell you that there has been absolutely no sound -other than the waves and the seagulls- coming from the HQ Studios in Dublin for the last 2 days. Maybe tomorrow they resume work after the St Paddys celebrations...
  5. I believe that what Bono does for Africa is more important than what he does in U2. He can go on and on and on about it if he wants to.

So cool that you can tell us that Sergio, hope you're having a blast! (Although I know you are)

I think globally it's more important, but I think it's important to remember what got him in the position to be able to speak on these things in the first place, and also to remember why the people who love him love him most, which is for his music, not his politics. Unless I'm in the minority for that...
  7. Now he has that position though. If he saves lives, which I think he does, people can hate him all they want, he'll still be a hero. Human life is more important than if people love him.
