I could see them playing China perfectly. I think you mean this by the Russian disrespect towards Human Rights, but Human Rights are violated sistematically in the United States too (death penalty and torture anyone?) and no one says anything about itI don't want to get too political, but your statement is basically wrong.

Even though it entirely sucks, sometimes if it's a band you truly want to see - you have to do a bit of traveling. Who else did Adelaide miss out on this year? Aerosmith, ZZ Top as two I can think of.

Yeah travelling to see a band from Adelaide to Melbourne surely can't be that bad? I mean, I know it sucks that you don't get the bands, but at least you're close enough to places to travel to see bands. When I'm in Darwin it's not that easy/cheap to travel to see a band. When I was living there in January it was about $1000 all up for me to go to BDO on the Gold Coast... Adelaide to Melbourne must surely be cheaper than that haha!

Sucks having to spend so much, but at least U2 in North America is closer to you than they are to us in Australia! It's a long way from Australia to go and see U2 if they don't tour out here.
