1. Well, don't take my first sentence about Galalgher too serious because I don't like the man either. But, opnions differ about the politics. I can live with some but it shouldn't dictate a gig. Can live with the current amount of politics with the U2360-tour.

  2. C'mon...we're truly discussing an interview with this guy?
    I mean:

There is being political and talking political. U2 talk political now. Political bands write political songs and play them songs as their protest. U2 have the songs (SBS, Bullet, Walk On) but then choose to talk aswell. They don't have enough faith in their own music to do their talking for them. If they did then they would have played Walk On the other night with no mention of yer woman. They got it right with SBS the other night though, play the song, show the colour and scroll some text. No need for a speech, point proven in the song.

Bono just wants to make a stronger stand then just playing the song.

  4. Shouldn't have to if the music was meaningful enough.

  5. LOL. Something tells me the poor man is jalous.

Oh well..he might be a tad jealous lol

had to google to see he is from Oasis. Sure heard that name before but...
  7. i love everything Bono does..politics seems to be in his bloodline already...most of U2 songs are inspired by politics religion, social injustices, and things related to that..that's his passion. it would be entirely different if Bono would not utter just one single thing about politics..

  8. Yep, I for one think that he is more or less spot on there. Can't see why he mentions Coldplay, though.

He hates that they cracked the world when they couldn't
