  1. Doesn't sound that great, but it's always nice to see some new footage. The video says "31st March" but I'm pretty much sure that it's the same background than the photo posted a few messages back where appears Chris Martin:

  4. Can't be too critical of the vocal. He's not giving it the beans on purpose. Just enough to fill the room.
  5. I'd say that Chris Martin and Coldplay are well on their way to becoming legends themselves. It would be pretty arrogant of U2 to think that they are "above" working with him. I'd even go so far to say that keeping Chris Martin out could be a missed opportunity if they decided to do that.

    And yes, we can all say that Bono does carry a level of arrogance about him, but it's not a smug arrogance that some members of the community are exuding by saying that Chris Martin and Bono shouldn't work together.

  7. I think Bono sounds good. It's just a very calm little noodling of SBS.

    I would definitely prefer if Chris Martin wasn't on the album. I love Coldplay and I've got all their albums and I've seen them twice on two tours, but U2 are one of the greatest bands in history. If they can't make good music on their own anymore it's time to call it a day, IMO
