1. Well on the next tour, unless they start playing 30 song sets, some of the warhorses (SBS, NYD, MW, Pride, ISHFWILF, Walk On, WOWY, COBL, Elevation, Stuck, Vertigo, BD) are going to have to be shelved...

I love BD , i think this song have to stay in the setlist, but SBS not.

Anyway i understand that U2 play their greatest hits on the shows even when i prefer other songs... i think is like i go to see some other band that i am not a big fan( like Aerosmith, Duran Duran , Bon Jovi, etc for example) and i want to listen the greatest hits and when there are playing some songs that i dont know sometimes this can be very boring...

So we have to think of the 50.000 peolple in a U2 show , how many are harcore fans like us and how many are going to see one of the best bands of the history and they want to see the classics

i don't need to name a couple of cases whom it's possible to have both (classics and not) from .. you probably know whom i'm referring to

anyway following your speech .. why not Sunday? it's definetely a classic .. one of the most for sure .. and very much more than Beautiful Day for what concerns me

by the way .. is Adam going to take the place of Terry Lawless? .. hoping not from the underworld hehe
  3. I don't think Adam will haha.

I reckon they just whacked him down on the keyboard to make it look like he was doing something in an acoustic song!
  4. Lmao if anyone actually thinks U2 will drop their biggest songs, they're sadly and incredibly mistaken and apparently don't know much about U2. Yes they dropped Pride for a bit on the last tour, they dropped WOWY for a bit on Vertigo, but to drop as many as some of you are hoping? Fat chance.
  5. dylbagz said they'll have to drop "some" warhorses, and I can't help agreeing. I think they will drop Mysterious Ways, Pride and the ocassional WOWY and I Still Haven't Found. Can't see them ditching Streets or any of the "new classics" (Vertigo, Walk On, BD, Elevation, COBL).
  6. It really all depends on the new album. How it sounds, the tone of it, and whether or not, as Adam said (at some point) it "catches fire". If it isn't popular than it won't dictate anything.
  7. If they play Walk On any more I'm going to take a 5 minute nap. That song is an Elevation tour song, and the 360 tour did a great job of whole-heartedly proving that fact.
  8. Walk On is not a warhorse, regardless if U2 play it next tour or not. The reaction to it is nowhere near as strong as One or Streets.

But OMG we are so off topic!
  9. Cross-posted from the Bon Jovi thread, and semi-back on topic:

"Unlike if this were, God forbid, the Edge, and he for some reason couldn't make a U2 show, [then] it would be very difficult to just step in," he said.

-Richie Sambora on his own absence from Bon Jovi's tour.
  10. any of you guys able to tab the acoustic sunday bloody sunday? I'm having trouble getting the intro right he plays it a bit different to normal...
